 Why did use Polartec® Power Shield™ for OBTRACK™ Skrylle?
Quite simply, we wanted to develop the ultimate coat for active dogs. We feel that using what may be the world's most advanced technical material, regardless of cost, is the right choice. Polartec® Power Shield™ uniquely combines the various features a dog coat should have to provide the ultimate protection. It insulates and keeps your dog warm. It protects against the wind, sheds rain and snow, and quickly wicks away moisture. Its 4-way stretch fabric allows the coat to follow every movement your dog makes.
Skrylle or Rogle: which coat should I choose?
It all depends on how you intend to use it. These dog coats are like our outerwear - they are intended and designed for different purposes and weather conditions. Rogle is made of Polartec® Thermal Pro™, the finest fleece you can find. The coat is mainly intended for dogs that are resting where they have some protection against rain and strong wind, such as in a car. It is also an excellent choice during cold weather activities on days with moderate wind. If your dog is exposed to extreme cold the coat can also be used as an extra layer under another coat.
Why didn't you develop a coat in a traditional material?
A dog coat has to be able to wick away moisture extremely quickly if it is to be used in most situations. Dogs are often out in dew, rain, and snow, which means it is extremely common for your dog to have moisture in its fur when the coat is used. Many people may not realize just how many environments there are, even outdoors, where condensation forms on the inside of dog coats made of fabric that doesn’t breathe. That's why a coat has to be designed and produced in a material that gives priority to wicking.
Why is fit so important?
A perfect fit is a crucial factor in determining how well the dog coat functions,
which is why we put so much emphasis on the details. A perfect fit is essential for how well a dog coat keeps your dog warm. A poorly fitting dog coat would defeat the purpose. In just about every
instance, the OBTRACK Skrylle differs from other coats in four
distinct ways:
- OBTRACK™ Skrylle is available in 23 sizes (OBTRACK™ Rogle comes in 14 sizes).
- The coats has a unique adjustment system that
provides maximum flexibility.
- The 4-way/2-way stretch material conforms to the dog's movements,
ensuring that the coat always stays in place.

cut are unique.

How do I fasten and remove the Skrylle Dog Coat?
A Dog Coat should be easy to use. You pull it over your dog’s head. Run
the stomach girdle between the front legs, then fasten it across the back.
Done! To gain maximum benefit from the dogcoat, pull the elastic straps around
the dog’s hind legs. This requires a little effort the first time around,
when you will have to adjust the chest piece to get that perfect fit for your
particular dog. A helpful hint is to tuck the loose ends of the straps under
the strapping. The fit of the stomach girdle can be adjusted with the strap
around the waist.
Can my dog relieve itself when wearing the Dog Coat?
Yes.
How do I best take care of my Dog Jacket?
Always hang the Dog Jacket in a well-ventilated place after use. It is often
sufficient that you brush or shake the Dog Jacket free from sand and dirt.
OBTRACK™ Skrylle Machine wash the Dog Coat in cold water (30 °C). Avoid
fabric softener. Do not tumble dry.
OBTRACK™ Rogle Machine wash the Dog Coat in 40 °C. Avoid
fabric softener. Tumble dry at low temperature.
Why can’t I use fabric softener?
Since fabric softeners eliminate the surface tension of water, it would interfere
with the durable water repellent properties of the fabric.
